No it's not, clearly I'm an enemy of the fandom and should be executed with all those trolls from /b/ and ED, because my single goal in life is to destroy the fandom as we know it, and resurrect Hitler!!!!!!!!!1

Or something like that.

iv bean in furry since roughly 1989

and i think it comes down to this and the same can be said about any large group of people

there is now roughly over 200k +  furrys in the world  (hell its probably dubbled by now since the last time any one checked was in the late 90s)
ranging from the greatly intelligent to the intellectually defunct
and with every overly large sample of people your bound to have a good portion of freaks and tweaks in the mix
it just cant be avoided

and people out side of furry I.E. the media  like to latch onto these people and claim that's who we are
why
is it because that's who we are ?
HELL NO
its because there more interesting then the majority of us to the people out side of furry

just like with every minority before it
the BS will die down  maybe not in our life time
but it eventually will

in my time involved in furry
iv met scientists, chemists ,computer tecks,
book writers. video programmers, professional cartoonists, current and x military, etc and even an astrophysicist all involved with furry
and on the other hand you have the fry clerks
drop outs and etc no offence to those who are the fry clerks and/or drop outs  lol Tongue

my point is furry has become just as diverse as the public at large (and in a way this is a good thing)
and the media has a tendency to point out the creepy ones (and this is a bad thing Tongue )

and as for people being over emotional in the fandom
take a look out side watch the news
the population in general is getting that way
those who are emotionally stable still outnumber the ones who are not both in the fandom and general population
its just that the over emotional are getting louder
and mark my words that too will die out  or eventuly go ignored

the great thing about furry is you can be who you are
and as far as im concerned as long as you are not causing any actual harm then more power to ya
diversity is rarly if ever a bad thing
and its when we start judging each other over stupid small details that we truly begin to lose our selves

hope i made my point well as i have worded it as well as i could think to Grin

EDIT: just finished watching the video
Great video Grin
