The Oncoming Storm

« on: March 09, 2010, 09:03:42 PM »

McAfee was recently installed on my computer. Now, when I tried to open Photoshop, I couldn't. I could before without a problem. I think the problem might be the firewall, but when I go to the Control Panel and click on Windows Firewall I get a window that says C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application Not Found.

What do I do?

I'd like to, but my 40-day trial of WinRAR expired. And I have no money to buy the full one.

Use 7-zip; does the same thing.
Also, check the virus vault.  If it was a cracked copy, it probably ate one of the DLLs thinking it was corrupted by a virus.
Can only recover from virus vault in proffessional version- try changing to a different Anti-virus provider, like Cloud, and then re-installing.

Good news! Dad fixed it. I don't know what he did, but whatever it was he fixed it. Thanks for your help anyhow! Happy
