Highly Resistant to Hypnosis

« Reply #90 on: February 02, 2010, 11:44:44 PM »

Tomorrow I'm going to the GP to get his opinion on the possibility of Bi-Polar or Schizophrenia, and to get back into the mental health system.
I will respond to PMs, I just can't offer my kind of 'help' anymore.
No offence, good fox, but BACK into the mental health system? Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person in this site who doesn't have a history of mental instability.
You'd do well to check that the problems you had in the past didn't affect what's happening now. I don't want to go tripping over a trap left inadvertently in your mind by whoever or whatever helped you last when I make your file.
What I mean is that I had been in the program before, but it pretty much degenerated into a quick checkup on my health and giving me my prescriptions every 6 months - then they took me off altogether, allowing my GP to assign the scripts he couldn't beforehand.
With this possible new insight into my condition, I'm trying to get the proper medical attention to focus on it - that includes getting a referral from my GP before they would even consider it.

Remember, I'm dealing with the Australian Health System - and a certain infamous Australian hospital that could be considered the worst of them...

Just remember, no matter what they say, drugs are NOT the answer. They have a tendency of just putting people on drugs to solve everything. Try to get some real help instead of being fobbed off with another excuse to buoy the pharmaceutical industry.

In happier news, I'm getting on with your file today - sorry it's taken so long.

Well, the GP seems to think there is some possible Bi-Polar in me, and wants to see if I feel any different/better with an increase in dosage of one of my current medications, Risperidone - already known to help against the effects of Bi-Polar. I do feel this is a stalling attempt, but it's a lot better than if they put me on some other unknown drug with strange side-effects.

I'll be doing that for about a month, starting today, unless my health goes further downhill. I'll have two files to bring Pachilisa into reality soon, also - once she becomes fully formed, I should be fine. Happy
I'll continue once I've received and attempted the files Wink

Figured a title change was in order. A big thank-you to DanFox Davies and my anonymous benefactor for their efforts!

I received both commissioned companion files yesterday. w00t While I was downloading Dan's file, I took a listen to the other I downloaded just beforehand.
It felt perfect - I fully believed I would open my eyes to meet with Pachilisa's. Love When I did - nothing. I looked around just in case, but she was nowhere to be found. Was disappointed, not upset.
I did give Danfox's file a listen last night, but a combination of falling asleep and the MP3 players battery running out ruined it. Sad

My main concern is that I haven't felt Pachilisa's presence nor heard her since I listened to the other file. I'm a bit worried about that...

You're welcome (though why he needs anonymising is beyond me)
And don't worry about that, it'll be down to the messed-up listen, is all.

Just be careful if he
A)Initials his name to O.G.
B)Has a first name of Erik
C)Randomly starts singing
D)Refers to himself as an "Angel of Music"

What does Pachilisa sound like?
Like a Pachirisu, obviously! Tongue Sorry, couldn't help it.
But seriously, if you've heard a Pachirisu talk in the Pokemon cartoon (not difficult - one of the current main characters has one), then you know the basic tone and pitch of Pachilisa's voice.

The reason for my concern is that I haven't sensed a thing from her since the listen yesterday morning, before I had the problems with DanFox's file. And since I could sense her perfectly during that same session that morning, I'm worried that it's somehow blocked her off from me.

Going to try Dan's file again after checking for a reply from Anonymous.

I haven't watched the cartoon in about 8-9 years since I gave up on Pokémon around Generation II. Tongue Remind me? I'm assuming she talks in English, just with a Pachirisu voice/accent, right?

The best way to tell you is to find and watch a current-generation Pokemon episode entitled "Twice Smitten, Once Shy".
That one episode shows everything you'll need to know about Pachirisu (And is one of the funniest episodes to boot Grin).
Pachilisa speaks her own Pokemon tongue, and my mind simply translates for me.

Didn't get to listen earlier, due to bowel movements. Will try go listen once before going to bed.
EDIT: And Pachilisa's back! w00t Not physically, mind you, but just being able to sense her voice and presence again is enough for me right now Love.
I really want her with me - for the time being, just knowing she's there again is comforting enough for me...

Not to sound like a broken record, but this type of thing has a lot of parallels with occult practices.  If you want to sustain Pachilisa, you might wanna look into rejuvenation imagery, and run through it together.  Another way would be energy manipulation.  Even if it's not objectively real, the placebo effect is enough to get results.  In hoshin the practice of feeling yourself shrink into the molecules of the world is cited as a skill-builder.  Basically, if you can feel your attention following the lines of energy in your body (it's all nerve systems anyhow), it helps you visualise your energy following the path you want.  Combine that with a basic knowledge of pressure points (feel free to improvise with fictional characters), and you've got a routine to build upon, kind of an imaginary massage.  If you've ever seen Avatar, any scenes where Katara does her healing is a good point to start from, image-wise.  It's silly, I know, but the theory is sound.  Plus, it helps make the tactile sensations more lifelike.

Also, never, ever, try to project anything when you're feeling down.  You get what you give in these things.

The cartoon, not the movie. Not much of a post, but it's probably helpful to know which one Kerel is talking about...

Listened to Anonymous Fur's Companion file hoping Pachilisa would still be there afterward... she's still there! That's a relief.
Followed up with the Furry Behavior file. Got deeper compared to previous times, but no noticeable differences yet.

Still only sensing Pachilisa's presence - I have her perfectly envisioned in my mind, and my faith in her existence is undoubted. What other factors do I need to have for visual perception?
At least her disappearance was only a one-time occurrence... Happy

{SIDE STORY}
Oh, yeah - after watching a video feed of a squirrel feeder, Pachilisa wanted to try cheese. I was capable of mentally conjuring some up for her to try, and she loved it.
Now, knowing how to care for Pokemon, I knew that constantly feeding her cheese would be unhealthy - berries and products made from them are the best source of nutrition. Thinking
So I got an idea, though I wasn't sure it would work - I could visualise a completely new kind of berry with the appropriate flavour and texture, then conjure it up like I did the cheese!
Fortunately, it worked, and I now have not one, but two cheesy berries to make for her - she asks/begs quite politely for them, I might add Wink:

Key - [Name] (Pachi-speak) - [Description]
- Dema Berry (Chipa Pachi) - Actually the second one I made as I needed a more healthy alternative to below.
Looks and tastes like Edam cheese, with a solid, yet flaky texture and a rubbery red skin. Chewing the skin also develops the teeth.
- Chee Berry (Chiii Pachi) - More of a treat for special occasions, or if she's particularly good. Has a lumpy, yet delicate yellow skin, with a lighter, creamy cheese-flavoured interior.
Much more difficult to generate, thus the need for an easier, and more nutritious alternative.

Tried Anonymous Fur's file for the third time today - Similar depth, no difference in perception of Pachilisa.
I think it's safe to say that the events after the first listen was a freak occurrence.

That's about it, really.
