The FurMorphed Agreement (FMA)
By registering for an account with FurMorphed, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
About this agreement and you:
We reserve the right to change this agreement at any time, and a notice will be posted accordingly when this agreement has been changed. Even if you do not look at or read the new agreement, you are still bound by its terms. If it turns out that you do not agree with the agreement, (or any part of it) we must ask you to leave FurMorphed. A copy of this agreement is also viewable at all times by clicking here.
About your age on the site:
You acknowledge that you are either exactly or over the age of 13, otherwise you will not be able to register an account here. If you are over 13 years of age, but not yet 18 years of age, certain sections will be off limits to you to protect you and those that run FurMorphed. These sections will be opened up to you once you are 18 years of age. FurMorphed cannot be held responsible for the content seen if you do not answer truthfully when asked your age or date of birth. Please note that all topics that are deemed 18+ will be moved to the appropriate board and only marked sections of the board accept 18+ posting and a topic may be moved with little to no warning.
People posting in the wrong sections or topic bumping consistently will receive warnings about their behaviour.
To access any special sections of these forums, you must provide your date of birth in your User Profile.
About your account:
- Keep your username appropriate. Any usernames that are not appropriate will be changed without warning. If you see an inappropriate username, please notify an Administrator or Global Moderator immediately via Private Message (PM).
- You agree to never to give your password out to another person or use any other person's account at any time.
- FurMorphed will never ask you for your password through any means! If someone asks you for your password, please notify a staff member immediately via PM or Email!
- FurMorphed will never sell, rent, or lease your email address or lists of email addresses to other companies or entities or spam you.
- The forum places a cookie on your local machine, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
- Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement or law.
Only try to make your profile as informative as you feel comfortable with. Since we have restricted sections we're concerned users might register for the purpose of gaining access and leaving again. A fuller profile will give us some confidence that you are not such a person.
It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the staff of FurMorphed determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be requested that it is altered or potentially removed without warning.
All information placed in you're profile should be accurate and reflect you're human side. Information about Fursonas with different details will be classed as fraudulent data. We have numerous custom profile fields for filling in such data about fursonas separately should you choose to.
About general posting:
For continued membership, you agree to follow the forum rules about posting. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No spam, double posting, flooding, thread necromancy (bumping), advertisements, chain letters and pyramid schemes as they are forbidden on this forum.
- No verbally abusing other members and/or flaming or otherwise engaging in heated discussions with the intent of aggravating other members.
- You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have proof of consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.
You accept that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of FurMorphed to confirm the validity of posts.
Please remember that we do not meticulously monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner or other members. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately.
The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages.
Accessing Special Forum Sections The sections of this forum not visible with only registration are the mature areas and the hypnosis forums (including downloads). We employ a manual system controlled by Administrators and Global Moderators. To gain access to either of these sections certain criteria must be met after registering and then either an Administrator or Global Moderator must be contacted to verify this and grant you access.
Firstly and most importantly to access any special sections of these forums, you must provide your age and date of birth in your User Profile.
Without this staff cannot determine if you are applicable for 'pass' into the restricted sections.
The main criteria are:
- The date of birth field must be filled in correctly in your profile.
- The age must equal to or above the legal age of an adult in your country.
- You must have been a registered member for 7 days or more.
- You must have made 10 posts on the forum.
These posts must fit the other rules outlined in this agreement and their quality is subject to the judgement of the staff member in question. Rapid and poor quality posting (Spamming to 10) will not be accepted as a valid way of fulfilling this last requirement.
- About the Mature Section:
- Creating an 18+ topic must be done in only the marked areas.
- Topics not created in mature areas must not be taken off topic and made 18+.
- Any topic that is mature and not inside one of these sections will be moved there without warning. If you do not have access to these areas you will also lose access to the topic!
- About the Hypnosis Section & Downloads:
- You acknowledge that FurMorphed and its administrators, as well as the original creators of the files are not responsible for the user's use of the hypnotic files featured on the site or their effects -adverse or otherwise- and that all responsibility falls on the user himself/herself.
- You acknowledge that the administrators of FurMorphed are not responsible for the members of its forums, and thus FurMorphed cannot be held accountable for any of the advice, comments and/or actions made by other members in reference to the featured files or otherwise noted discussion topic.
- When acknowledging this agreement you do so on your own behalf not for those you are in contact with and as such any downloads or developments you make in relation to FurMorphed must go through the provided sections on this forum. Thus files on this website must not be distributed or re-distributed to other members or non-members and without access to the section and it's resources you agree not to edit, develop or produce content.
An exception can be made to the age requirement on the hypnosis sections, lowering it to 16 years of age, provided the member in question can provide an administrator with indisputable proof of age and parental consent. 'Consent' consisting of the parent or guardian accepting this agreement as well as the member themselves and accepting what this will involve should the member decide to use content available here.
You agree that by not following these or any other rules may result in banning from the forum.
Stick by that, and you should be OK, and we will welcome your registration to FurMorphed!
