  1. I think I was a closeted furry most of high school, lol. It wasn't really till my Junior year or so that I really discovered and started investigating what was possible with hypnosis. From there, I happened to stumble into a couple of people with similar interests who said I should check out this forum way back when. I think its the prospect of being what you want to be, especially if there are physical limitations of reality. Honestly, as furries, that's a big part of why most people do it. They leave their life for a bit and intensely pretend to be something else for a bit. The hypnosis aspect of it only helps to add to the "realism" (if you can even call it that) and especially the immersion. You ARE this character, or person, or species, or thing, or robot... whatever suits your fancy. Or at least as far as your psyche will permit xD
  2. Granted, but they do the same thing to it that they did to teen titans, just as its getting good. I wish the "P" key on my keyboard worked without having to slam it
  3. Hilary would be proud
  4. Hey there! I was lucky enough to have a skilled mentor, and the capacity to do lots of research. Places like this are a good place to find skilled people to learn from. My advice, ask lots of questions. There are places that teach basic hypnosis competency, seminars and the like. also some schools have classes in "parapsychology" or abnormal psyche or whatever they're calling it these days. Look around, you may be surprised what you find. A good deal can be learned from watching others. Maybe check out some stage hypnosis shows, or other preformers who use hynosis in their acts. Derren Brown is one of my favorites. Welcome to the forum!
  5. I wonder if the "face swap live" app would be more user friendly in this regard
  6. Caffeine usually does the complete opposite for me. Maybe a sleepy time tea or something, but that's just me A few tips If you're just getting into it: consider that there are lots of people with lots of different theories, some simple and some super complex. its actually really simple. Hypnosis and trance are not mutually exclusive, but both are a naturally occurring phenomenon and part of every human's physiology. What tends to be the "lynch-pin" when starting to get into hypnosis is the constant thouht of "okay, get into trance... am i in trance yet?.... do I feel trance-ish?" and the best results come when you stop "trying" and just listen to the hypnotists voice. Distract yourself from yourself. Hypnosis is, after all, external hyper-focus. if it were internal, it would be meditation.
  7. The furry assistant or "hypnotic companion" as some called it, as I recall, created a lot of turbulence on this site, myself having some first hand experience. Understandably, creating a sentient personality within one's mind can create a number of adverse effects mentally, socially and (less often but possible) physically. As with what is typical of the internet, there are people who will read these posts who will think its interesting and try it on a whim. That can be dangerous. Nearly everyone I've talked to on the subject who has created a tulpa or an "assistant" or other type of thoughtform has greatly underestimated the responsibility required to do so safely and sanely - and with varying end results, some ok, some..... well. In short, no matter how ready you think you are, you're probably getting in over your head. I understand the allure, but I can also understand the dangers, and I've seen the results of both. So at the risk of re-hashing stuff that probably shouldn't be re-hashed, if you have any other questions I'll invite you to message me privately about the matter and I'll answer what I can to the best of my ability... versus continuing this topic on a furry hypno transformation forum
  8. So a "choose your own hypno adventure story" you say? Very curious indeed... An interesting concept, I'd be interested in seeing how it works out for people
  9. Granted: You now have a degree in retail I wish I was on vacation

  13. Granted..... Stories and "tales" will be told of your wishing for years to come! I wish.... Uh.... A sandwich I guess. A sandwich would be nice
