  1. If you've followed some of my recent posts I've been playing around with lucid dreaming, well tonight was my first real success. I was able to trigger a full wolf transformation for a short time until my body IRL started to cramp up forcing me to stretch waking me up just long enough to loose control of the dream.

The best methods are keeping a dream journal and doing reality checks. once you become accustomed to preforming the checks on a regular basis you'll start doing in your sleep which should fail the check for instance I tap my thumb to each finger tip during a dream I might count 5 or 6 but I only have 4 fingers. others push their finger into their other palm if it goes through their hand it's a dream. keeping a journal forces you to remember your dreams and allows you to see patterns you can start to look for in future dreams. There is also different techniques for forcing a lucid dream such as setting a clock to alarm about 4hrs into your sleep schedule in order to wake up in an relaxed state and go back to sleep while knowing you are sleeping. Another technique I try often is to lie perfectly still while maintaining consciousness and allowing yourself to enter sleep paralysis.   3. A furry is basically just a fan of anthropomorphic art be it movies comics video games etc you either are a furry or not it's entirely up to you. You don't have to do anything to be a furry other then be a fan. A fursona is an avatar furries use as their alter ego in the since if I were an anthropomorphic animal what I would want to look like. All and all you don't have to have a fursona to be a furry and you don't have to be a furry to be interested in hypnosis. Hope this answers your questions I'm over simplifying a bit but that's the gist of it

For me it's a bit hit or miss (mostly miss) 1 if I realize I'm dreaming I tend to get excited and wake myself up 2 I don't realize that I am dreaming but its extremely vivid also false awakenings were I remember waking up to do something only to realize I'm still asleep which really sucks if it happens more than once. 3 lucid nightmare last time this happened a demonic naga chased me to my childhood home I remember trying to fly but couldn't when I got to the door it was locked so I turned around just in time to slice the naga in two with an energy blade. Note that's also the moment I woke up and almost karate chopped my ottoman. There are a few books out there to learn how to but the best methods are telling yourself you will remember your dreams and keeping a dream journal also reality checks seem to help I sometimes count my fingers by touching each to my thumb it's really weird when you end up having too many.
  5. I can note one physical change that occurs during hypnosis. I've been wearing a Fitbit for the past few months, my standard resting heart rate is about 75bpm average after a self hypnosis session I was setting at 66bpm. So the act of hypnosis will allow yourself to become far more relaxed then on average. I'll continue checking this to test this theory. PS I understand this was not what you intended when you asked about physical change but I feel it's worth mentioning.

  7. I seen a little bit of this. I believe the intended goal is to immerse yourself like when you read a good book or to get you in that mind set though I'm kinda just guessing it really hasn't worked well for me

  9. If you've read my success stories you'll know I purchased a cheap tail in order to act as a prop. I used it daily for about a month then stopped mostly because it needs brushing, anyways it's been about two months since I've used it and it still shows up in my dreams. It seems like if I have a lucid/simi-lucid dream it shows up. Please note I have not seen or touched the thing for 2 months and I am still able to visualize it in size color and texture. If you are having trouble visualizing you may consider picking one up as a prop if you are big in the fandom you can always pick one up at a con if not just shop around some places sell pelt style others sell fake fur. It's a little weird but it seems to help, atleast in my case.
  10. I would recommend working with files that are designed to help you go deeper into trance or files to improve your visualization after you've got those down decide what you want to visualize and stick with it
  11. Cool that you could recall such detail. For some reason it seems dreams in which you are injured or die seem so much more detailed, anyway dreams most of the time are just subconscious mind trying to work out a senario maybe in this case I'm probably over thinking it but my take is transhuminism occurs to the point some people become hybrid animals and you are witnessing the fallout and how you would react to the new discrimination. I tend to take things too literal it probably doesn't mean anything serious but you could always go so far as to turn it into a story, could be interesting.
  12. As for the supplements I could only take them on my days off. I would end up having 2 to 3 false awakening almost every day I used them, so use with caution. The tail thing on the other hand worked great as a totem in terms of notifying me of when I was in a dream state. As for the whole phantom limb thing I haven't worn it in about two weeks yet I still since it occasionally, mostly when sitting or when I first stand up. Also incase anyone has not seen inception a "totem" is a unique trinket that if can alert you to a dream state if it is in anyway altered.

Well I have gotten better at entering lucid dreams and recognizing when I am dreaming however I can't seem to hold on to conscious thought for more than a few minutes it probably has more to do with my ADD but practice makes perfect I guess. The whole tail thing has acted as a totem a few times since I wear it around the house most of the time if I realize it's not there or the color is wrong it's time to conduct a reality check. I've only experienced one transformation since my first posting on this topic this time was anthro.
  15. I recently decided it may be easier to visualize if I had a prop, and since fox cub had so much success, I decided to get a tail. So far I've worn it for a few days around my house and when I sleep. First night I had it I dreamt I kept taking it off whenever Id see anyone. I can't help but feel like this is my subconscious rejecting the concept of having a tail. Oh well I'll keep at it for now and keep posting on how this experiment goes.
  16. If you don't mind spending a few bucks you can purchase several books on self hypnosis. I would recommend how to master self hypnosis in a weekend. It goes over some basic techniques for going into trance to include self triggers for trance. I've only scratched the surface but aside from the trance trigger I also set up a way to tell when I'm in trance/being hypnotised and a few others. The book is just under $5 on Kindle book store and links three basic scripts that follow the book.

  19. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tummo It's unlikely you are experiencing true tummo, however if you are only experiencing the temperature increase during trance you may be triggering something close to the effect. I had heard stories about monks practicing meditation were the monks would alter their core temperature in order to dry soaking wet sheets in freezing weather. You may be unintentionally increasing your temperature depending on your focus when attempting trance. My suggestions would be try to imagine a cool breeze while going under, and if that isn't quite enough ware a cool damp rag on your forehead or simply using a fan on a low setting . Also after a short session if the rag is noticeable hot you had a fever.
  20. Amazon sales a lucid dream supplement simply called lucid dreams. I found it works good for dream recall but I've gotten trapped inside false awakenings with it as well. It contains b6, b12, green tea extract, melatonin, and a few other things. Note I haven't used any the past week but I still feel like it has helped me with recall since taking it a week prior. And by trapped, I mean attempting to get out bed 3 or more times only to find out you are still asleep, it's hard enough getting up the first time.

  22. Sorry I've been away for a bit I've been trying different means of mental stimulation focusing more towards lucid dreaming. It seems fitting to post here how to tell if you're sleeping instead of trance well why not do both. I have found this site very helpful and it sticks with the hypnosis theme in the since some of the methods for induction involve a two part hypnosis part 1 sets the ground work while part 2 is more of a reinforcer you use before sleeping. well let me know what you think. http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/lucid-dreaming-techniques.html
